I got this Senseo as a closeout yesterday and it’s going back to the store tomorrow!

I had 2 Black & Decker single serve machines and, altho they had their issues, I’d gladly go back to the B&D machines. At lease they made a hot cuppa joe!

Brewing is awful, slow, splutters and incomplete. The pods that come with it are disgusting. The coffee is not even close to hot - I wouldn’t even call it very warm. The single setting brews 3 oz of coffee! Now, who the heck drinks 3 oz of coffee? You have to press the double [coffee mug] setting to get a whole 6 ounces of luke warm dishwater tasting muck. The machine even looks stupid. It takes up more counter space than it needs to. The water tank is in the back so you have to pull the whole thing out to the edge of the counter to remove and replace the water tank. The box says something about ’starting a coffee revolution in Europe - over 1 million sold’. Well, they must be desperate over there. This piece of junk is going back first thing tomorrow morning! The only thing that would be slightly more satisfying would be backing over it with my truck.

This rig alone would turn me into a tea drinker.
