I loved this unit and got it for a great price. My fiance was working at Kohl’s and she got the associate discount in addition to it being on sale.

I really loved the timer feature. I would set it the night before for the time I am usually in the shower in the morning and come out to the coffee being hot and fresh. I also really liked the sneak a cup interrupt feature. This allows you to remove the carafe while the coffee is brewing and pause the brewing process. This is good for the times I do not use the timer. The two hour keep warm plate is another benefit, as the coffee stayed warm and fresh for that time without burning or cooking it. I also liked the 2 hour automatic shutoff feature. This is nice for people like me who occasionally forget to turn the coffee maker off. The carafe is also a very big, which is nice when you have company.

Unfortunately, my wrists are weak due to carpal tunnel syndrome surgery. One day, the carafe slipped out of my hand (while empty thankfully) and shattered. Since then I have not been able to find a replacement carafe and have looked on Black and Decker’s site, all over the internet, and in stores to no avail. I unfortunately am now using a cheaper, not as good coffee maker and miss this one
