For years I have owned only bunn coffee makers I thought they were the greatest. Almost 2 years ago our daughter gave us a bunn coffee maker for a gift, because our bunn coffee maker was not working very well and did not keep the water hot enough to make hot coffee any more. We were very happy that she cared enough to spend her hard earned money on what we thought was the very best coffee maker there was. Now less than 2 years later we find out that our bunn coffee maker is being recalled. When I called to find out what to do to correct the problem, I was told that I would have to send in the coffee maker and they would fix it, but I will have to be without my coffee for 14 days. They also told me that I could purchase a different bunn for approximately $60.00, but I still will have to go without my coffee until they receive my other coffee maker. I wonder how many people could go without coffee for 14 days. The bunn was bought in good faith that it was the best, now we are told not to use it because it could burn our house down. I don’t understand why we should have to pay for their mistake.
