I’ve already seen nothing but positive reviews for this device, so I almost decided not to write my own. However, the unit is SO great, that I decided to go ahead and give it one more set of thumbs up!

The Cuisinart TTG-500 (Two-to-Go) is a great, great, GREAT coffee maker for those who only want one or two cups of coffee. I am the only one in my household who drinks coffee, so I often have to make a small pot on my full coffee maker, and still end up throwing some away. With the TTG, I just brew one cup directly into the thermos, and off I go! No waste, and easy clean-up. Just throw out the dirty filter, rinse the filter holder, and rinse/wash your thermos, and you’re ready for the next cup!

I love this unit so much, that I bought a SECOND one. I know this kind of defeats the purpose, but it’s just that good. Really. So I keep one of them at my work for those times when I just have to have one more cup of coffee, and the other one I keep at home. I have a grinder and I get Ozarka water delivery, so my coffee always tastes fantastic with the three most important facets of coffee making: fresh clean water, superior (freshly ground) coffee, and a machine that brings it together perfectly.

If I had to pick on something, it would be that the thermos cups are not 100% dishwasher safe. The manual says that they are not, but I decided to try it out anyway. They are still fine, but apparently the thermos is not perfectly sealed — a little bit of water got in between the bottom casing and the metal component. It’s not a huge deal, though.

Overall, a wonderful device. Two thumbs WAY up!
