About the Touch-Screen Interface & Backlit Display

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All Saeco espresso machines feature an intuitive feedback system to inform you of machine functions and status. The Saeco s-Class is quite unique in this category as it has a TOUCH SCREEN Sensitve, pale blue backlit display system. You select and program machine functions through the use of a simple and large touch-screen. There are many options on this machine that are user programmable:
>Cupwarmer On/Off
>Filter On/Off
>Screen Setting
>PreGround Coffee
>Auto Off & On
>Time Settings
>Coffee Dosage, 6, 9, & 12 Grams
>Steam/Hot Water selection
{simply download the user manual at http://www.aLatteHotte.com for all the machine functions & details}
Of course, you don’t have to program any custom settings, it’s ready to brew your favorite coffee & espresso shots right out of the box.
About the Brew Group
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Saeco Brew Group is where all the magic happens. The Saeco brew group is a patented & unique design. It is made of high strength, durable ABS Plastic and will last for the useful service life of the product when properly maintained. Every machine comes with a “Brew Group Key” to remove the brew screen, which should be rinsed about once every two weeks depending on usage. The brew group features a unique 12 Gram grind capacity for brewing a 12 gram shot of espresso or café crema, this simply pronounces your brewing abilities. The Seaco brew group is of absolutely exceptional build quality - the brewing screens are very fine pinned & allow for the most beautiful layer of crema on every brew!

For those who are not familiar with crema & the removable brew group:

-Crema is Crema is the delicious tan colored foam layer that appears on the top of a well-shot espresso.

-A removable brew group, different from the internal brew group like a Jura or Capresso, can be removed for easy cleaning and hidden behind a door, usually located on the front of your Saeco espresso machine. The removable brew group only needs to be rinsed about once a week depending on usage. I like to rinse (just rinse) the brew group every time I empty the dump box (About once a week). The machine indicates when the dump box is full of used coffee grounds and that’s when the brew group should be rinsed. I clean the brew screen once every two weeks or so, with warm water and a wet paper towell, use no abrasives. Simply reinsert the brew group and continue making top-class beverages.

About the Brew Head & Saeco Brew System (SBS)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Brew head is properly articulated and works well with a slightly larger shot glass {one that looks like a mini frothing pitcher works well}. The flow of liquid from the brew group doesn’t always drip straight down, it usually cheats towards the outside of the flow of Espresso.
So, instead of ||| ||| you have /// \\\ which makes brewing two individual shots at once a breeze. Simply place two shot glasses underneath each spout. Making double shots of espresso has never been easier than with a Saeco SuperAutomatic. With the Sirius and the Rondo, brew up to 12 grams per shot! The Saeco Brew system allows you to select the brew pressure at the brew head, turn left for an americano or right for a rich espresso
(or leave it in the center for a normal espresso shot). Choose from the strongest ristretto shot with a thick crema to a milder coffee with less crema. The SBS dial adjusts the amount of pressure in the brewing chamber, so you can control the strength of the extraction for every cup brewed.
About the Bean Hopper (where the beans are stored)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The ceramic grinder Saeco Sirius S-Class has a little “house” on the top of the machine where the beans are kept. It’s above the machine because the ceramic grinder is of industrial quality, it’s large so they had to push the housing for the beans up a bit, on top of the machine.

It is the only Saeco SuperAuto that has a push button bean hopper lid. You press it and it glides nicely upward - very classy.

The S-Class will allow you to select the dosage using the touchscreen (the Saeco Opti-Dose system) - select a 6 gram, 9 gram, or 12 gram dosage of coffee/espresso with the simple touch of a button.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
About the Dual Boiler System (Rapid Steam)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Saeco Sirius has two boilers, One for Brewing and One for steaming. Why is this necessary? Because it means that you don’t have to wait between brewing and steaming, you can go from one to the other without any downtime. Rapid Steam reduces the normal waiting time between brewing coffee and steam output to just a few seconds. The Incanto Sirius has a separate heat exchange for steam, which allows it to provide fast and continuous steam pressure for frothing milk or steaming within seconds!

General Product Commentary

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Saeco Sirius S-Class is truly the Lexus of Espresso machines in terms of build quality and price per performance/features/value. Everything is HEAVY. Ask any Italian, good machines once were judged by weight. Drip tray functions properly. The Touchscreen Interface couldn’t be more obnoxiusly simple! It’s elegant and shows machine status and operations with large icons and easy to use guides. Easy to program too! This machine is ideal for anyone who loves espresso/coffee because it’s truly a SuperAutomatic. The touchscreen is backlit white/blueish color. Steam wand works wonders - it’s heavy duty and makes microfoam quite simply! It utilizes a ball joint pivot system, not a locked horizontal axis only wand. Steam wand does not feel cheap and light, it’s heavy and it screws onto the machine body for added reliability. Very easy to clean also, simply rinse with the hot water option and wipe with a damp hand towell or paper towell.
It’s the little things that count too, The Ceramic Grinder works so much better than any machine I have ever used perhaps because it grinds quietly and efficiently. I always use the laVazza or Illy beans because I love the flavor of the coffee and the blend is on the dryer side which means the grinder never gets clogged from using oily beans. aLatteHotte always has laVazza on sale.
All Saeco SuperAutomatic machines will Grind your beans, Tamp the grind in the patented brew group, brew the grind and dispose of the grounds all with the push of a button. It’s your own café - for your kitchen or office. Best of all, the Saeco product is a good investment; the resale value is incredible and they do not cost a fortune to begin with. Saeco SuperAutos start at $499 and wil pay for themselves in no time when you consider how much savings you can accrue from being your own barista! Plus, when you brew your own Lattes, Cappuccinos & other coffee beverages at home, you can make it how you want it and not have to deal with the inconsistency of coffee shop beverages.
Saeco SuperAutomatic Espresso machines; From the alluring Italian Desgin body to the elegant and an effortless user interface, this is a classic performer that will last you many years to come!
