I hate this coffee maker. I bought it because it could make espresso and coffee. The espresso maker is decent. The coffee maker, on the other hand, is terrible. The carafe is poorly designed and it is impossible to pour coffee without spilling no matter how slowly you pour. The machine is also very slow. It takes >15 minutes to brew a pot of coffee. I called Krups to complain about the spilling and they told me to pour the coffee slower. I tried and I still spill coffee on my counter every morning. The coffee plate heater does not stay on long enough. It often goes off before I finish the pot of coffee and I end up microwaving some.
