Overall, this is a great coffee maker. We got the Melitta Mill and Brew after we had leaking problems with a cheap Mr. Coffee coffee maker. We were hesitant to buy the coffee maker initially because of the price, but we were soon aware that the quality of the coffee and the coffee maker was well worth paying the little extra. This coffee maker grinds its own beans, has a metal micro filter and can be set on a timer to make coffee whenever it is convenient. It also takes coffee grounds, if you prefer to by the grounds instead of the beans. The buttons and functions were relatively easy to figure out. It is a bit messy to clean up after, with multiple parts to clean, but the quality of the brew is worth it.
