I saw this coffee maker at a friends house and was totally impressed how good the coffee was and how easy the single serve coffee maker was to use. This machine is very easy to use. It has programming features that let you do a number of things. You can program your machine to go off in the morning (like most other coffee makers). You also can program how long you want the unit to keep your coffee hot up to four hours. It has automatic shutoff and audible signals for when your coffee is done and when it is going to shutdown. The water filter is a nice feature and it easy to change. I like the taste of the coffee in this machine because is comes directly out single serve and doesn’t hit the air like when using a conventional glass carafe. Also, when using a glass carafe on a hot plate the taste and quality of coffee goes down, it can even taste burnt. With the Cuisinart however, the coffee is never exposed to the air until the actual pour therefore enhancing the coffee taste. The gauge at the front tells you exactly how much coffee you have, and is displayed like a gas gauge, full to empty. The coffee stays hot and has good taste. The only drawback to this particular coffee machine is cleaning takes a little longer because of the large reservoir that holds the actual coffee inside. I have already had other friends purchase this coffee machine after having been to my home and trying it.
