Happy New Year Epionionators ! How did you start your New Year off? I started mine off with freshly brewed coffee from my Hamilton Beach Brew Station.

Over the years of being an avid coffee drinker I have owned a variety of models of coffeemakers. Mr. Coffee, Procter Silex, Bunn just to name a few. My most recent coffeemaker is the Hamilton Beach BrewStation Model Number 47665 12 cup. By far this has been my favorite! My coffee stays fresher, making coffee is as easy as any other coffeemaker I have owned.

The features of the BrewStation 47665 are:

Why Do I like this one the Best?

I am completely satisfied with the performance of this model. No more mess to clean up after I pour a cup of coffee, I just hold my cup up to the Brew station press the cup against the button and the coffee dispenses right into my cup. There is a removable drip tray to catch any coffee if you by chance over fill your cup. The coffee has Not leaked from the brew system into the drip tray at all since I have had this coffeemaker.

With my other coffeemakers the coffee would spill or splatter all over the counter top as I would pour my cup with the carafe.

This Model has NOT LEAKED any water from underneath a Big plus in my book.

The first cup Does Taste as Fresh as the Last. Which is what a Coffee drinker is always looking for… A Great Tasting cup of coffee!

I Like the 2 hour Shut off feature for when I forget to shut it off if I get busy around the house. If there is coffee left that I have not drank. I simply press the ON button and the coffee which sat in the brewing system because of the Thermal Insulation, it actually stays hot for a quite awhile after it shuts off. By turning it back on, the warming plate under the Brew system reheats the coffee and keeps it fresh.

I like the design, the Black and Metallic matches my appliances. One thing I don’t like on this Model is the display of the coffee level is hard to read because the strip is so thin. I have to get really close or if I want to know if I need to make more, because I can’t see if I am down to the last cup. I have to then lift the ground basket and look into the brew system. Other Hamilton Beach Brew Station models have a wider coffee indicator than this Model.

Even though I don’t use the programmable feature often, its great for those of you who like to set your coffee the night before to wake up to fresh brewed coffee.

The Backlit Clock displays easy to read digital numbers and tells you if its AM or PM. Makes programming easy. I use the clock often just to tell time in the kitchen when I am cooking because it is in eye view for me.

Would I recommend this Model to other households? Yes, I would! I would Highly Recommend it if you are an avid coffee drinker like myself. I have Not wasted any coffee at all since I started to use my Hamilton Beach BrewStation.

Prior to this with my other carafe coffeemakers, after the coffee sat for so many hours the hot plate in which the glass carafe would sit on would scorch the coffee giving it a thick bitter taste. I personally would throw it out and make a fresh pot. Hamilton Beach BrewStation Model 47665 gets 5 Star from my home!
