Let me just start by saying I love my Toddy! This is by far the best coffee maker in my opinion. It makes a coffee concentrate that lasts about 2 weeks in the fridge. You can use whatever kind of coffee you want, and you don’t have to hassle with the traditional coffee maker. I have made both iced and hot coffee drinks and both come out great. The coffee is less acidic and you can drink a couple cups without the stomach problems and jitters. It is the way it is cold brewed that makes the coffee more smooth. The only problem I have is planning ahead. Since it takes 10-12 hours to make a carafe of this you really have to plan ahead. If you are out of coffee you wont be able to make this in just a few minutes. Also, the kit only comes with one plug for the bottom of the maker and two filters, so you need to buy a couple more sets of filters when you buy the whole set. If you can find another set of plugs for the bottom get that too since if you loose the one that comes in the maker you are out of luck!! Other than that, this is a wonderful product that more people should know about.
