I purchased this Brew Station Deluxe for around $100 and the cheap black lever that dispenses the coffee has broken TWICE within the last year I have had it. Both times, it was the plastic on the black lever that broke completely off. I was able to get the part replaced the first time through a department store that was nice enough to just give me the part from their store display. After it broke the first time, I was EXTRA CAREFUL not to let anything touch that cheap little part for fear of it breaking again. Much to my despise, it broke again for no apparent reason, just because it is so cheap and frail. And now, I am finding it impossible just to find a replacement part for it. I refuse to spend another $100 on a product from a manufacturer that does not even offer a $5-$10 replacement part to offset for their cheap products. I have also done some research on the web and discovered that this is an occurring problem with this model for other people as well. I would like to know why, if the manufacturer is aware of this faulty part, haven’t they offered a solution or a more accessible and cost sufficient way for it’s customers to order a replacement part? Just something to consider before spending big bucks on a product whose manufacturer wants to put the money in their pockets rather than in their products.
