I really thought I would love this coffee maker. I had had Mr.Coffee (the really cheap ones) and they had lasted years. When it came time to purchase a new coffee maker, I wanted something which had a warmer control to make the coffee hotter or cooler depending on what you want. Before one year passed, I had had to exchange this coffee maker 3, yes, THREE, times! I had purchased it at Best Buy with the replacement warranty. In less than 2 months it quite running the coffee out. The warmer got hot, but no pumping. We got a NEW one witht the warranty. In about 3 months this one’s burner quit working. By the end of 1 year it had fizzled out and we went to Best Buy. Each time they gave us what WE thought was a brand new coffee maker. They were kind and courteous. This time, when we got the thing home, it was a refurbished model and had scratches and pock marks from use. The carafe was new and the basket was new. I would not recommend this model of coffee maker. The other models might be ok but they are short on features. I would definitely NOT recommend Best Buy. For all I know, they might have all been refurbished coffee makers!
