The Hamilton Beach Brewstation is intriguing, but not without flaws.

Best Qualities: Programmable to turn on automatically at any time of the day. Push and serve feature that allows you to simply put your cup up to a lever, push your cup into it and have your piping coffee stream into your cup. No breakable glass parts. I have to say that I love this feature. With two small kids running around, the morning routine is hectic enough without added hassle. I always hated the big glass pots that set on dangerously hot pads. This way, all you have to do is have one hand free and it eliminates the risk of burns.

Not-so-Great Qualities: The system has leaked a few times, and although the automatic shut off feature makes me feel safer, it shuts off too soon. I like to leisurely drink coffee all morning long, but this machine doesn’t really allow for that. Because the coffee maker shuts off after about an hour, I have to then put my cup in the microwave to heat the coffee up.

Fair Qualities: The water tank inside is sufficiently large and changing the filter is easy. The plastic container that holds the coffee is transparent, allowing you to view how many cups of coffee are remaining inside the maker from the outside.

Overall Opinion: A helpful appliance that makes morning routines simpler. Definitely room for improvement, but worth the money.
