I was given a Cuisinart TTG-500 3.5-Cup Coffee Maker last Christmas as a gift. Upon looking up the price I see that in most stores it only costs $24.00 to $29.00 in most cases.
I am constantly drinking coffee and I am the most impatient person in the world when it comes to waiting for an entire pot to brew. Using the Cuisinart TTG-500 3.5-Cup Coffee Maker changed that quite a bit for me.
The Cuisinart TTG-500 3.5-Cup Coffee Maker makes two thermos cups full of coffee. You can use disposable paper filters small cone shaped ones. Or a cone net filter which saves money but does not come with coffee maker.
You can make two cups just by filling the water line to the number two. Or just one for a faster cup of coffee by filling the water line to the number one. I usualy do one since I am the one who always drinks coffee in my house and other only ocasionaly. I estimate the making time to about 4 minutes tops for one cup and about 7 or 8 for two. My old coffee maker took 15 minutes to create a full pot so the wait time is so much better for me now. And I don’t have to worry about not having coffee right away in the morning. Any coffee brand works fine although I prefer Dunkin Donuts brand coffee.
The two thermos cups are very nice. Crome and hold the heat in for a very long time. Great closable covers that prevent spills if you are like me and like to take your coffee out with you when you leave the house. They don’t spill in the car and no need to worry about getting burned by spilled coffee like with some others.
The thermos mugs have rubbery grips around them. This helps you to hold the thermos more easily. They do not lose shape. In the cold I tend to hold things a little tighter if my hands are cold. You can see your finger indents in the rubber, but it goes away the second you put it down. Reminds me of the memory foam stuff because of that.
My favorite thing about it would have to be that the basket comes out so easily and it is easy to clean with out coffee grinds getting in the lines. My old pot did that and it made for one heck of a job worth of cleaning for me. I am very pleased with my Cuisinart TTG-500 3.5-Cup Coffee Maker. I am glad I got this gift. Best gift I have ever gotten.
I highly recommend the Cuisinart TTG-500 3.5-Cup Coffee Maker to all coffee drinkers.
