Nice grinder for not too serious drinkers

Pros: Low price for a burr grinder. Nice looking.
Weaknesses: Rather messy. Not convenient for single cup use.
This is my first burr grinder, so my experience with grinding at home is rather limited. I must say that indeed having a grinder at home to grind your beans fresh before consumption makes every cup a real delight. That said, I couldn’t actually taste the difference between coffee made from grinding using this grinder compared to grinding using my blender. I guess I’m just not a connoisseur yet. The thing I dislike is that for single cup grind, this grinder is not very convenient. When pulling out the holder to pour out the grounds, it is bound to spill everywhere!

Grind and Throw

Pros: Good job of grinding.
Weaknesses: Plugs up a lot, and does not seal…throws fine grounds all over your kitchen counter and back splash.
Purchsed this model to replace my old Braun grinder that I wore out over a 7 year period. I wish I would have kept the old one! This model plugs up all of time, you must clean it out too often, and it makes a horrible mess. I’m so disappointed in this model, I probably won’t ever buy another Braun product.
