(Edited June 04th by brandonbrown) I wake up with fresh coffee waiting for me.The Brita filter lets me use tap water. The timer is easy to set. The auto shutoff and no need for paper filters is a plus. It brews fast!

Braun Impressions KF590 Coffee Maker

Pros: water filtration system, sneak-a-cup without dripping (while brewing), excellent taste, great look
Weaknesses: Permanent filter not fine enough, coffee residue in the carafe. Just use paper filters (No. 4) works fine and is also recommended in the manual.
Bought it for Christmas and I am 100% satisfied. I can’t understand the negative review… use paper filter instead (No. 4). I think it’s a good product and a reasonable price!!

Braun KF590e impressions digital coffee maker

Pros: looks good, auto functions works well
Weaknesses: Lousy design, The pot dribles on the counter when you pour it, the fill shutoff sticks and pours coffee all over the hotplate, occasionally drips around the outside of the pot when brewing.
This is the worst coffee maker I have ever owned. I have had it for less than a month and will be returning it. The pot is like those joke dribble cups, it pours coffee or water on the counter especially when full. You can get around it by taking your sweet time in pouring (30 seconds at least). aside from the other problems I mentioned above it also sends steam around the entire top at the end of its brewing cycle. I have never seen a coffee maker do this, dangerous if you put your hand above it and I expect it will leave calcium deposits or water spots around the edge over time. Avoid this piece of junk!
