The Black & Decker DCM2000 is a great coffeemaker. It is a basic unit which has only an on/off switch. This is perfect for those who don’t need the electronic timers and want to save money. It does not leak water from the bottom of the unit like my last coffeemaker. The carafe pours without spilling coffee all over the countertop. The sneak-a-cup feature works well so all in all this coffeemaker makes very little mess. It will neatly brew a pot of coffee in ten minutes. This unit has a small “footprint” so it takes up less countertop space. I love the easily removable filter basket. It comes with a three foot cord which can be stored inside the unit. It also comes with a one-year warranty. It’s a little awkward to put the carafe back on the hot plate but that’s a minor issue, and at around $16, I rate this unit five stars. The Mr Coffee unit I had was a messy affair, and though I considered another Mr Coffee, I went with the DCM2000.
